People Explained - Simon Lammy Photography

Introduction

It is an art form photographing people for numerous reasons. Everyone has a personal opinion on what constitutes a good photograph of another person. I strongly believe that everyone irrespective of their personal worries about their photogenecity can be photographed well. My People Folios represent my often perceived mindless but deeply personal wanderings amongst other people. Each People Folio contains twelve images.

People Folio 1

This contains some of my most memorable images so far from my time in Aberdeen. You shall see some photographs of people that have become good friends including my flat mate Colin and one of my work colleagues Sami, Andrew, Darren, Sasha and Nathan.

It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on this particular folio. What do you think of the contrasts and also of the theme? I have gotten rid of some of the images that used to be in this batch simply because the ones previously here did not hit the mark of my own standards.
